Job Description
Do you want to help create a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your role is to motivate our youth towards new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and security of our youth and form the basis of daily life, such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. You help maintain order and safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building safe relationships and contribute to ensuring that our youth receive the security and safety they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

The working hours are irregular, including days, evenings, and nights.
As a new employee, you will undergo a local basic training of three days to prepare you for the upcoming work.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformation. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of humanity, great empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain your calm even in stressful situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.
You should also have:
- At least a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.
- B driver's license
- Good Swedish in speech and writing
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience from client-facing positions in the Prison and Probation Service, e.g., correctional officer
- Security guard training
- Experience working with youth

Employment:
The position is a temporary position, where you will cover for the regular staff as needed (e.g., illness). Start date according to agreement.
Tests and work samples may be part of the recruitment process.
